Matthew D. Gailey
Prior to opening his own solo practice in 2010, Mr. Gailey worked at both a large firm focusing mainly on insurance defense litigation and a small law firm representing injured parties. His current practice focuses on all aspects of trial work including representing injured parties, general litigation, criminal defense work and DUI defense.
Mr. Gailey is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania, West Virginia and Ohio; and to Western District of Pennsylvania and federal courts in West Virginia. He is an active member of the American Inns of Court.
Born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, he attended and graduated from Schenley High School. He went onto the University of Pittsburgh where he graduated with honors in 1999. Mr. Gailey received his Juris Doctorate from Duquesne University School of Law with honors in 2003 where he was active on trial litigation teams at Duquesne University School of Law.
He is active in his local church, the Elks, and mentors children in the Pittsburgh Public Schools. Mr. Gailey lives in Ohio Township, PA with his wife Emily and their daughter.
